Awoke from sleep, Suah
continues to lie on her bed and think. As soon as she enters the front gate of
the school, there is a low embankment to the right. She can feel the
uncomfortable that the male students are sitting there in rows and staring at
her legs in miniskirts.
Shall I skip school again
today? Should I not? There may be a shortage of credits. Lift up her heavy body
and open the refrigerator door. When she drank beer, she felt better. She put
on miniskirt and wears high heels. To the point of ignoring her father's
nagging, "You look smaller if you wear shoes so high," the beer encouraged
her.
The bus carrying Sua stopped
at the Samgakji station. A man standing behind the crowd, slowly approaching
the crowded bus. He is a good singer who goes to the same school as her.
"I enjoyed your performance. I love the song." She'd like to go near
it and put words on it, but she hold back. She got off the bus slowly. From
behind he walked with his eyes glued to every move of the man. He is wearing a
freshly washed, faded jeans and a pink T-shirt. Carry a badge-colored cloth bag
over one's shoulder He looks fresh as if he's going to smell like an apple when
he gets closer. After looking at him for a while who go to the left-hand side
of the campus, Suah turns to the right-hand campus.
Suah looked out of the
window blankly with a brush in her class. The gray sky of late autumn made her
lonelier. "What are you doing? Stupid. You don't even think about working.
You came to college to get married, didn't? Be awakened." the professor's
nagging behind her back.
Suah hung around the campus
for a while after her class. She wants to go out with the apple scent man she
met in the morning. On the left side of the school gate, there is a coffee shop
where he goes well. Open the door. It's dark. Standing at the entrance and
learning to the darkness, She can see the man inside the tearoom. Nora is
sitting opposite him. He is listening to Nora's story with a fresh smile. It's
a natural pair.
After wandering for a long
time between jealousy and resignation, Suah sits helplessly on the table near
them. Call up the waiter and order loudly, "Whiskey and half-boiled
egg." Lift up a small glass of whiskey and gulp it down. The strong drink
drenched her throat and heated up her and gulped down the half-boiled egg. She
turned her eyes to them, but the two are not interested in other at all. Suah
leaned over to them if she wanted to eavesdrop on their story. The music
bounces more and more.
'Uh! What's happen?'
Suddenly a tall man approaches and sits opposite her. He's starting to get his
bangs out of his big head. "How are you? Don't you think hiding from me is
avoiding me?" Suah looks reluctant to speak. "I was going to tell you
when I met you, but I couldn't meet you, so I wrote a letter. Go home and read
it," Suah didn't pick up the letter. The thick letter sits nervously in
the middle of the table, losing its owner.
He sits down and looks at
Su-ah, touching his long hair. He wore a loose striped shirt and drooping
pants. He'll smell sour if get close. Suah glances back toward Nora. 'Do you
want to eat?' he asks. "I'm not hungry. If it's alcohol?" The man
looks very excited with his eyes wide open. "Where shall we go? I know
where the atmosphere good is." 'I can't go far because I'm wearing high
heels. Let's have a drink of soju at the hangover soup restaurant near the
railroad tracks."
